Matt Cain's Perfect Game v Astros, June 13th, 12Last night Matt Cain threw his first career, first one for the SF Giants franchises, second one of the season, and 22nd of all time perfect game! He also tied with Sandy Koufax for most K's in a perfect game, 14. Giants won the game 10-0. G Blanco made a great catch in the outfield to preserve the perfect game in 7th inning.
This was super awesome. I watched it from the 4th/5th inn. I really wanted him to get it. He is one of the most underrated pitchers going around. Other then that 7th inn, he didn't look edgy at all through out the whole night. I was more worried about Giants' defense, as they are known for making too many mistakes.
